A Very #Qool Weekend in Singapore

Who didn’t get the itch to visit Singapore after watching “Crazy Rich Asians”? After watching the film, I knew I had to make my way to Singapore and see all its splendor with my own eyes. And did it live up to hype? Yes, it truly was a magnificent experience.

For this trip I partnered up with Quincy Hotels for their Qool Weekend experience which was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. If you are looking to have an unforgettable experience during your next trip, THIS IS IT.

Where do I start? The rooms are massive and offer incredible views of the city. As if that wasn't enough, everything in the mini-bar is free of charge. I swear, I am not making this up. How many times have you just wanted to eat everything in the mini-bar but had been to afraid of the charges? Well at Quincy, you don't have to worry anymore.

One of my favorite activities was the art jamming session which was part of the Qool Weekend experience. While I am not very naturally gifted when it comes to actually drawing and painting, the process was so much fun. Not to mention, the whole team was so nice and patient. I am pretty sure that the teacher might of wanted to give up on me but he never let that show, lol. In fact, he kept pushing me forward and sharing tips on how to improve. Oh and there was also complimentary drinks floating as this was happening, aka can you ask for anything more? I think not.

I'll admit that it was difficult to leave the luxury and comfort of Quincy Hotel but Singapore is full of cute little spots to see and if you are anything like me, no trip is complete without a visit to a rooftop bar. During this trip, I visited Cé La Vi following the recommendation from a friend and honey - it is truly worth the pricey cost of $22 SGD. Note that the entrance fee can be applied to your bill in the bar so it's basically to ensure you spend that as a minimum. (Which is not very difficult to do here.)

The location of Cé La Vi is pretty perfect as it's located in the 57th floor of the famous Marina Bay Sands. So after a few drinks, you can walk over and watch the Supertree Grove show - which is absolutely beautiful and best of all free.

Another highlight from my weekend in Singapore was exploring the colorful streets of Little India. Just a few minutes away from the shopping heaven that is Orchard Road, you will find this little gem of neighborhood filled with shopping opportunities and delicious food. All of my favorite things!

While I wish I would of had more time in Singapore, this weekend was the perfect introduction to this grandiose cosmopolitan city to which I am already planning come back.
